The Institute

The Institute trains mental health professionals to be psychoanalysts through a comprehensive program including a personal psychoanalysis, classroom study, and intensive clinical supervision. Psychoanalytic training is the backbone of our work. Without it there would be no steady stream of new psychoanalysts in our community. The Institute has a low fee clinic for those who need psychoanalysis but do not have resources to fund it. For those needing training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy as a prerequisite for psychoanalytic study or as an end point in training, the Institute offers courses from The Center for the Study of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.
